Hi, I have retired this year January and am thinking of renting out my shop unit to photogs. The space is 344 sq ft and its not square but longish. The unit is empty but with about eight windows, so its is brightly lit with sunlight and have blinds for shade. I would like to know from you guys:
1) Should I just rent out to photogs who would like to have an office and to do their business?
2) Do you think 344 sq ft is too small to convert to a studio.
3) Do you think I should accept 3 or more photogs combined to rent my shop unit?
4) I am thinking of the lowest rental for photogs who are interested, at $900 per month but the maintenance is about $350/month which the photogs must also pay. This come to a total of $1,250 per month. My shop unit is linked to a hotel and its outside CBD area. Do you think my total rental is too expensive?
I used this shop unit as a retail business, selling my photographs and old cameras including philately.
Your suggestions and advice is much appreciated.
