Need help with weird colours

So here's what happened. As usual, i sent my photos from lightroom to photoshop cs3 using the "edit in.." option.
The photo defaulted at 16 bits. After editing i had it switched back to 8 bits and everything is going fine, colours are ok and the photo look like what it should be. But little did i know that after uploading the photos to facebook or sending it through msn, the colours are totally off.

What i learnt today is that even for flickr the colours are off when viewed using another pc other than mine. Could this be due to my colour space?

Seems ok to me though.

Leave the colour profile embedded when saving. This will tell some browsers how to render the image. IE does not belong to them,. But some online platforms will remove these details when yuo upload the image and it's getting / converted.
