Taking photos in exhibition

Hi All,

Not sure if this is a valid question. I like to go to exhibit and also take photos whenever photography is allow.

My question is there a way to prevent the reflection appearing in your photo when you take a subject enclosed in a glass case?

be careful with your shooting angle, and use a CPL

A properly used CPL will help, though not completely eliminate reflection.

I did a wiki on circular polarizing filter and it seems to be use to enhance photos. I dont quite understand how it reduce reflections. How much does a CPL usually cost in SG?

Thanks. No I do not press my lens against the glass. Just try shooting from an angle where I do not see my own (and other visitors') reflections.
