Thinking of making a trip down there for Sunset on the weekends, I've seen some nice shots of it on Flickr but I have no idea which section of the reservoir it is at. In particular, some of the shots feature a tiny jetty which makes for a interesting foreground. Any clues to which area of the reservoir it is located at, or other great spots along the reservoir for sunset is greatly appreciated!

This one?

If it is,if you go by car, when u come out from the car park, you will see a lighthouse.Turn to your left, facing the sea you will see it,it's quite prominent. If you take bus there, you just need to walk a long stretch then you will reach the car park from the bus stop. And at night it's quite scary because it's dark, there's no pathway and when you walk under the express way,no lights and the cars are so loud
Have fun shooting

the car park im referring is along track 7 the light house is the circle circle thing

Am not sure about the sunset lately but its kinda gloomy and not a good time to do sunset shots over there...

Based from experience, sunset at it best is on end of the year when starts of Moonson...

Here my take for if u dont mind...:)

Thanks lamergod! That makes it very clear.

Great shots soulfly - I was just looking through your shots on Flickr, this area is really your territory. Hope you don't mind me asking - where is #2 taken at? I'll love to get to those rocks.
