Difference between polarizing filters & ND filter

PLs not only cut down light by 2-stops, it does what its name applies: polarizing effect. Do a google search please and understand how PLs work

i did do a search and PLs also reduce reflections and increase contrast...and for ND filter reduce the amt of light ...so the shutter speed can be reduce too ..and PLs also the same..

Main diff btn the two filters

CPL - will make skies appear deeper blue, will reduce glare and reflections off of water (can see the rocks or fishes of course if the water is crystal clear not an x-ray vision) and other surfaces like leaves, and will reduce the contrast between land and sky and bring out the cloud details too.

ND - This is useful when a sufficiently long exposure time( 1 sec or more) is not otherwise attainable within a given range of possible apertures (at the lowest ISO setting).

Situations where ND filters are particularly useful for the 'special effects' include:

&#9632;Smoothing water movement in waterfalls, rivers, oceans, etc.
&#9632;Achieving a shallower depth of field in very bright light
&#9632;Reducing diffraction (which reduces sharpness) by enabling a larger aperture
&#9632;Making moving objects less apparent or not visible (such as people or cars)
&#9632;Introducing blur to convey motion with moving subjects

Don't think of results. Think of the process. What is the science behind it.

ND is simply darker and reduces the light coming in.

Polarizer filters out stray light waves that are not of a certain pattern. See this:

Once you understand this, it will be easier.

PLs increase contrast by reducing glare and also , they will increase intensity of blue in the sky.

Kenko Pro1, Hoya and B+W are all reputable brands, depends on how deep ur pockets goes..

C'mon, read again. Hint: pay close attention to the role of the sun. Where is the sun indoors? What stray light do you want to filter indoors?
As mentioned: do learn about the basics behind, don't just look at effects.

If you really spent time reading up on what a CPL does, you will know why your question, and the answer, are self-evident.
