Once a long while, there will be such accident too. Last year a lorry also forgotten to bring down the trough and hit the gantry at TPE.

Last week, a lorry's lift hook got loose while turning into KPE and ripped the wall panel out. Taxi driver told me that it was bec lift hydraulic switch is loose after wear tear and if not locked, the bouncing on the road will cause shifing.

I just hope you wont be in a similar situation as the driver one day. Then you will have a hard time telling those people you have killed.

Saw this on the news a few days ago. It's in Turkey if I'm not mistaken. The government is at fault for not putting a height limit bar at the toll gate.

Height limit bar is for normal cars/trucks........this is a truck at an unusual situation: driver forgot to lower the bed. And it is an overhead bridge, not a toll gate......unless you are meaning the truck passed a toll gate before???

Yeah I meant the height limit bar when the truck enters the highway. The maximum height should clear anything in the highway. If there was a bar by the toll gate, the truck driver would at least hit the bar and not cause any casualty. Unless of course he accidentally pressed a button inside the truck that raised the trailer? Never driven that kinda truck before :sweat: And well, the government should be responsible for public road safety, right? I mean, they should build safe roads and facilities.

I am not sure if you are aware that this is in Turkey? Not sure if this road was a toll road.......
