It can't, unless the rear passengers have no legs. Rear leg space is unsuitable for even a 10yr old child.
the gtr DEFINITELY can take 4.
I've taken 6 in it before.
2 adults with me driving in front.
2 maids behind with 2 children on their laps.
no doubt it's a little squeezy, but for short trips in singapore, it's bearable.
i always go to lunch with my colleagues in the rear.
they're about 1.6m.

I think in this video, the race is designed for the GTR and not the Shelby. The GTR is very quick on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear and given the short distance, I reckon he only uses till 4th gear. The Shelby being RWD will have disadvantage on the 1st 3 gears with the massive power coming only after 3rd which is already too late.

Sometimes I do wonder how did Nissan came up with a car that is so fast and still managed to keep the price down for the mass market. It would take an EVO or WRX at least 100k of engine mods just to match the stock GTR

I'm not surprised that the GTR won the drag race. Like the presenter said, AWD and sticky tires determined who would win that drag race. If the distance was longer, the Shelby might have caught up with the GTR. I guess the Corvette ZR1 would be better suited to battle the GTR. But again, GTR is one of the most revolutionary cars of all time. Definitely one of the best. Can you imagine a car that weighs like that being that fast?

1.6m is about the height of most 10 yr olds here.. rests my case. It's also bearable to have a broken hip and climb mountainsides (been there done that with no painkillers) :sticktong
No chance methinks. The Shelby will be vomiting pistons and rods after a couple of miles.
Out of the box production yank engines do not take shed loads of abuse as well as Nissan engines without serious reinforcement to the engine in terms of better bearings, pillow housing caps and a lot of work on the pistons and rods etc. Have watched enough Yank V8's self destruct on the track to speak with some authority on this.
