where to buy tripod screws?

I'm trying to do some diy projects for my camera and was wondering where i can get the screws that screw into the camera base.

Go to hardware shops and look for 1/4" bolts..

screw thread size is 1/4", you can get such screws from any hardware stores, but what type of tripod screw you are actually looking for?

3/8" is for ballhead-tripod attachment. Most camera uses 1/4". Which model are you using?

not exactly, 3/8" thread mostly use on larger camera, and also most tripod head, be it ball or pan and tilt heads.

I prefer the 3/8" if I have a choice. A lot sturdier.

oh for those interested, i'm trying to create a bokeh filter holder and also a sort of vertical grip.
