It's no scam, I've had H1N1 (along with pneumonia at the same time) and the amount of damage it did to me was incredible. Plus there was the 2 months in hospital and 10 days in ICU where it was touch and go if I lived or died. Then there's the nearly 2 years of recuperation I have to go through.
I was also one of the first people in the world to be vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccination and can tell you first hand it's no scam. The vaccine will save a few lives globally but will help reduce the horrific hospital bills and burden on the public purse in the long haul.

You didn't even spell it right. And Timbuktu is not exactly on the cutting edge of science. And it's faaaaar away from the origin point of H1N1, where the villagers have actually been living with it for a long time before it spread.
Hmm Timbuktu is a dump, been there and there's no labs in that $hithole in the desert. Try again and don't quote any of the BS online about it coming from a lab as it's been well discredited by DNA analysis of the origins.

From web reports, there were indeed few scientists claiming that this H1N1 virus is likely from lab. Fortunately, this virus doesn't seemed to like consistent hot humid weather. :sweat: It could be some accidental release of virus or even a virus just to gain some real stats and see how it spread in the real world.
The excessive vaccine IMO is due to the high possibility of side-effect, thus less people takes interest even if you give free. Nevertheless, the virus is real and this H1N1 has given mankind a real life experience and simulation of how virus can spread worldwide and contained. Look at Australia, because citizen and govt don't care, the virus spreads fast. So indirectly by stats, you know which is a easier target.

Actually the Australians took it very seriously indeed and still do. They were one of the first nations to immunize against H1N1 en masse and also to recognise a self evident truth, that in most cases it is quite mild and benign and once it is out in the general population there is little you can do to contain it's spread.
Your assumption that this was the first virus to show the world how to deal with a pandemic is also invalid. Avian Flu was the first to be really clamped down on when it emerged a number of years ago.
