I was looking at the pic I took in my euro trip.. and I think I can do better now… but to go back… is a long way..not to mention expensive…

I wanted to reshoot those XMM photos I took 30 years ago.

But they had all turned aunties with 3 kids.

If they are all aunties with 3 kids, what are you now? ;p

I looked back at my pictures from my pns and early dslr days.. Yes they sucked

So yea, I would go back again to "re-shoot" if its in singapore.
For overseas places, unless its really a nice place which i want to visit again

There's always room for improvement or trying something different. Wether it's the time of day, placement, filters, etc...

"aunty with 3 kids" photographer :bsmilie:

Photo of my colleague, she models for HR for work life balance & family day event

Me the photographer :bsmilie:

I went back to the same place more than 5 times, just to try to get the pic right. Sometime it's the equipment that count. PS with built in flash vs DSLR with external flash, the answer is obvious...I think I will get to know all the performers very soon.First still life photography, maybe next trip portraits maybe.:bsmilie:

this is why i love singapore , and not overseas.

you can always go back, fulfill an incomplete dream. people who complain that overseas looks nicer have no idea - they are too easily satisfied with just "something different". if they had taken a look at flickr, they would realise that there are loads of better photographs to be taken, and after the novelty value wears off.... then that's that.

of course i go back to shoot again, and again, and again. i have been to lower peirce 10+ times, i still find something to do there everytime, in that little rocky area. same for punggol. same for chinese gardens. there is just not enough time to explore our little island.

So true.. but travelling overseas does do the mind some good. Seeing new things opening new doors sorta thing.

LOL TS u sound like me ~~

2 years ago i went taiwan carrying a tripod and shot Ai-he. i felt it wasnt nice.

Last year go again. shoot liao. slightly better but still can improve

and both years i shoot there. on the spot ppl call from singapore tell me struck 4d ~~

i will happily go there another year and shoot:D

Quite not as usual, people realise that
kuku bird does ask kuku questions sometime.

However it is really a bankrupt concept
of having a privilege to have so many response
for such a unique question.

yes, note, i am not saying that overseas cannot be different from singapore.

i'm just saying that there are things singapore has that overseas cannot offer, so the people who cannot see that should jolly well wake up their idea! stop confusing "i have seen this before" from "this is not interesting"!!! :bsmilie::bsmilie:

I always want to go back to the same spot to shoot again.

This time in a security guard's uniform so that I won't be chased away.

I think it is not always possible to go back to destinations of old, for various reasons.
I will just make sure at destinations in the future, I do my best to perform better in my photos.
So for me, I generally don't go back.
