The light-up ceremony is on 23 Jan 2010 (Sat).
Heard this year's event extend till Clarke Quay, and there will be fireworks every Saturday by the river.
Anyone with more details liked what time is the fireworks display and which part of Clarke Quay...?

Hi, is it confirmed that there will be fireworks tonight? I can't find anywhere else mentioning this event.

for tonight i think it will be low level fireworks and firecrackers. more smoke than fire.

Anyone interested in videography please come to chinatown performance stage (next to Buddha Tooth Temple) today by 8:00pm and look for Jason Tay. Will train with actual events coverage.

Fireworks at Clarke Quay on Saturdays only, during the period 29 Jan - 13 Feb. It will be 2-minute fireworks at 9.30pm.
There will be a boat with lion-dance between 7.30 - 8.30pm moving along Singapore River, and some acrobats and stiltwalkers on Read Bridge.
