SBG macros 16th Jan 2010

Am actually thinking of exploring a new macro site but dropped the idea as I do not want to go alone. Instead, switch location to a common playground SBG. Quite a number of subjects and a very cooling day for macros. Below are the humble shots of the day.

My Setup:
Canon 450D
EF100mm Macro f/2.8
Raynox 250DCR
Speedlite 580EXII with DIY diffuser
W/B: Sunlight
Shutter: 1/50 to 1/100
Aperture: f/11 to f/29
All shots handheld

#1 Baby Ant Mimicking Spider hiding in a tiny flower... It's a lucky find for me.

#2 Mini Ladybirds... real tiny about 2mm in size.

#3 Very playful spider. Jumped to my lens and diffuser 3 times as I am too close... LoL...
The body has silver reflective stripes which makes the shot looks burnt...

#4 After releasing it back to the leaf for the 2nd time, it jumped to my hand instead. Hahaha...
