Happily surf here and there, then one month later, here's my bill:

I got a real shock. Why is my iphone plan has change back to the existing plan? So piss off and starting ringing to 1627. After a long wait, I manage to talk to the billing officer but she refer me to iphone services line. Again, a super long wait and finally, one CSO pick up the call.

After my explanation, she even contacted the compasspoint M1 store and they have verify that I'm using the existing plan, therefore, data charges occur. I insists that I have change to iphone plan but she claim she don't have the record.

Out of the good will, she talks to the manager and the replies was " M1 will change the plan immediately but you have to bear the bill with a 50% discount. ??????????

I say, "No way", your internal mistakes, I'm not going to bear this. Therefore, CSO check with the manager again and this round, offer a big discount of 200 bucks off the data charges(Original charges at 299bucks) and on top of that I need to pay my existing plan charges. Super piss off liao and I ask to speak to the manager but the CSO refused... What will you do?

Go personally to the service centre to complain.

I had my share with Singtel also. I bought a phone and re-contract for another 24 months. No change to any of my existing services or plan. By end of the month, I was shocked to get bill saying I did an early termination of a value added service and hence got a penalty.

I call and complain, no good at all. I went to their service centre twice, and finally they did waive the penalty (Though they did apologise in the end).

Anyway, you have the original receipt and document to prove you did get the plan. There is no way on earth they can claim ignorant after meeting them face-to-face.

Probably will not go there to complain, it their fault yet I still need to travel all the way...

Cannot just don't pay for it?

I don't know, probably they will add onto your bill and terminate your line if time up:angry:. Still don't pay, issue you a big lawyer warning letter!

You got the energy to post here and complain only ah? :bsmilie:

Then that is your choice lor. Call and call, until your phone bill blow lor. :bsmilie:

For what? You think by making a complain there, M1 will waive the charges? In the end, CASE may ask you talk to M1 directly. Like what I told you.

Seems like Case cannot handle this case:thumbsd:

Whether I complain where, they should waive off the data charges and revert to my plan mah

The best is to bring your contract and current bills to M1.

inform newspaper, especially ba gua newspaper like xing min and wang bao. or post to stomp.

Same thing happened with my friend's starhub internet promo. He signed over at the roadshow and was promised a 20% discount. But when his bill came, no discount or what so ever.

He called starhub spoke to the people over there, and they said they couldn't help him much.

His father called over and spoke and told the person on the line, it's that either they honour the 20% awarded, else they'd have to speak to his lawyer.

Immediately the 20% discount came from no where and the manager called back to say the staff had forgotten etc.

This is what is happening to our Singapore service standards.

I think M1 knows we are poor and can't afford to engage a lawyer to fight...

just write in formally. you should only be paying for iphone plan + any data charge if u exceed limit.
