Hi guys, any shop for you guys to recommend me to buy GND filters and filter mount from? I'm new in this area. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

if you are using UWA
please get the wide angle filter holder - that can only hold one filter as opposed to normal one, which can hold 3.
otherwise you will get vignetting, visible in your viewfinder.
i suggest you get a cokin filter holder and cokin ring, and buy tianya gnd.
tianya can be purchased from tago tech, do a google, please.
yup yup, i know that uwa filter holder can only hold 1 filter...but night86mare, any reason why u recommending getting the cokin ring and holder but tian ya gnd? sorry, but just wanted to know your rationale...thanks everyone so far for the input, was contemplating ordering tian ya set from tagotech a few days ago...doing my own research too though.
the most important filter that you can get is NIKON Circular Polarizer ,get the 77mm professional size and get step up rings for your lenses. B&W is not much better and more expensive, trust me the nikon circular polarizer is the standard.
second is neutral grad x4 filter(clear on the bottom and grey on the upper half)
you don't need color filters bla bla bla unlike film, digital you manipulate color balance etc and do that post production.
if you want, you can get a warming filter such as the 81A.

actually, not looking into cpl yet as i have yet to see the need in my photography yet...im looking in ND-Grad for now...and i don't really need expensive ones, just normal ones like cokin or tian ya for now...
ok, you can get the circular polarizer from cokin, and nd too from cokin. if you shoot outdoors then cpl is a must coz you can't manipulate its effect in photoshop. coz you if you get a cpl that also an nd2 filter, so by buying a cpl you get two filters in one.

tianya does not offer uwa filter holder, and i use a uwa.
also, i have seen the quality of the tianya filter holders, i'm sure they will hold up, but they look a wee bit iffy to me. the price difference is also not that great, i'd rather pay for the cokin one.
i had cokin gnds, they gave me a nasty yellow cast that was hard to remove.
you can search clubsnap for threads started by hazmee, he did a comparison before, i think.

i don't deny that it is useful, but it is not all that you make it out to be.
Alternatively instead of a holder, u can do handholding of filter against the lens. solves the issue of using filters on wide angle lenses unless the lens front element protrudes excessively
The more expensive brands supposedly offer better color neutrality ( e.g does not impart a color cast on the darkened area )
