Monopod vs Tripod

Bro, just came back form there 2 weeks back, the wind is damn strong at night..
You noe i shot on tripod for 80% of my pics and i still end up getting blurred shots..:bsmilie:
Though only minority of it... Pls bring a tripod (which i did) and or u will regret it..

Without much of a doubt for long exposure and for ease of use with blackcard and cable release, tripod is crucial for night photography.. HTH

even daytime tripod is crucial for some landscape shots as well... no tripod no GND... no tripod no long exposure... i'm sure bro Numnumball knows what i'm saying....

tripod can act as a monopod, but monopod could never replaced tripod in an event of long exposure....

Hw rigt u r bro. Thats goes abt implying hw critical it is to bring tripod on long vacations.
None of my wife's d5000 las vegas shots is usable..She shot handheld of cos. Even though on Monopod, the steadiest hands one might have will not give u that "perfect" shot still...

To save space, LTS would prefer that you bring a unicycle.
