Need Location suggestions for Apocalypse theme shoot

Have a shoot coming up and need location suggestions for a armaggedon / apocalypse based theme whereby the world is in ruin and there are but a handful of sole survivors..... This is a theme that the outfits created by the Fashion designer was built around ......
Any suggestions ?

hmm. singapore got place like tat ar. let me think.....

see got those old abandoned angmoh buildings? i sorta remember pulau ubin having some. not too sure.

fort canning park is good. fort siloso? anywhere tat looks like a bomb dropped on it looks good.

are u in singapore now? or other countries?

I guess after listing a few they will be crowded soon with lots of photographers, then blocked and fenced up by some security people and very soon everything get's upgraded into a new level .. of concrete boredom.
In the Landscape gallery section there are a few sticky threads with locations. Includes such places also.

well i poped by to fort canning. seems like its a ok location. worst come to worst go christian cemetry? chinese one cannot:x cause u want apocalyspe. means no ppl.
but we like to burn joss papers ps ar!

cemetry now seems like the perfect location for ur shoot. good luck!

If I may suggest, you should do photoshopping for your theme. Just go to a location with old buildings in the foreground, then photoshop the skyscape in total ruins to complete the look.

Check out the abandoned army camp along Kranji Road. I think they have the ruined look. Trick is how to get in there to shoot without getting caught by both mortals and immortals.

In Singapore.... I don't think you can really get the feel. Rural is not the same as the war-torn look...unless you can find a place where buildings have just been demolished.

for disused govt buildings, call SLA and look for Ms Chan Hwee Min. She handles all media requests to use disused govt buildings for filming or photography. Don't be silly and sneak in there,because after instances in the past where metal thieves sneaked into these buildings to steal the metal fixtures, all buildings are now guarded by motion sensors and guards. U really don't want to be arrested for trespassing.

there's a HUGE abandoned construction site along the MRT track near jurong east mrt, foundation exposed, I-beams everywhere, deep puddles, craters....its been abandoned for almost a year. giant dengue site :bsmilie:

think the developer went bust....
