Where do you take your panoramic photos?

As a noobie, i look at gurus photos and try to determine where the shot was taken, and try to go to the exact place, even though it can be hard for me to go to some places as I'm in a wheelchair.
The Marina promenade is a good start. Also, the new Pinnacle HDB blocks. Another place is Mt Faber (but avoid those steaming cars, else they would think you are there to take voyeur shots!)

Actually panoramic photos are like landscape photos.
I don't take pano shots but most people would stitch landscape shots into a pano shot.

Anywhere really, as long as whatever is in the photo is interesting enough to fill the frame from left-edge to right-edge.
It's quite a personal thing, I feel. I can even take a panorama of the road where I live, can't I?
I doubt anyone else would be interested in that though...

360 pano won't really be interesting at esplanade.... I think...
some parts of the building are quite plain... Having such a wide pano will spoil it, not make it better...
Well assuming you don't compress the photo too much horizontally, a 360 degree pano will be extremely wide compared to its height, won't it? W:H might be something like 15:2

Is there any places that can take 360 degree pano shot, and a view from high enough to view esplanade?

Lots of places. With a proper focus and composition, u can take pano shots in many places in singapore. Flats, buildings, shorelines, sunrise / sunset etc .. the creativity being the limit.
Of course u can take documentary panoramic shots from on top of buildings of whatever little buildings and structures below, but asthetic value of the pano will depend on how u compose them .. too often we see people applauding for great pano efforts of for instance hdb flats from hdb flats. but whats beyond capturing it .. maybe as a directory ..
U probably did not allow sufficient overlap for the software to compute stitching at the corners of each pic. there are other factors. maybe post the various frames for us to see.

I think cannot go there, for safety reasons... Imagine if a big bunch of 'gung ho' photographers go up, and someone falls down... siao liao...
Your photos should overlap about 20% (guesstimate) at the corners, so the stitching software can do its magic. Just find any location where you have interest subjects from left to right. Shouldn't try 360 degree pano. Quite adventurous. In singapore, usually there'll be some ugly building blocking the view... totally spoils the shot.
