Hm I guess this version is more legal than the one I have suggested. LOL.
Except when they call you in office or in front of your mother in law probably difficult to use this method

My friend pointed out to me that admitting you are homocide detective may be taken as impersonating police officer in singapore and that is illegal, furthermore the call will be recorded so they have a proof. So dont say you are singapore police in singapore over the phone. :sweat:

I am just wondering if it is ok to impersonate malaysian police over the phone when you are physically in Singapore (assuming tele marketer calling me on mobile phone) :angel:

I am not a Lawyer and don't live in Singapore, but I expect you will find the law applicable to impersonating any law official, not just a particular counties brand of law official.
You might be impersonating a foreign police officer, but you are still impersonating a police officer.
