Love e pics!

The Sedans will keep swinging, as if the Emperor Gods sitting in each of the Sedan is causing it to swing.

No matter how the Sedan swings, the figurine is calm.

Hi Darrelltan, nice and sharp pics there. Did you use a tripod for the procession vehicle? I find my pics not sharp enough. I suppose yours is shot with a dslr right? I am hoping to get a DSLR. Need to save enough first...

Thanks PinkDevil.

I didnt use any tripod or monopod for all the shots.(which i am considering to get since I am having shaky hands). I shot with D90 at between ISO400 to ISO1600. It will be difficult for you to crank your PNS camera to ISO1600 without suffering noise.

Choose carefully when you are getting the DSLR. THere are a lot of factors to consider and not just be swayed by advertisements or hearsay.

Did you shoot these with the D90 kit lens?

Hi darrelltan,

thank you for your advice. I was using a D50 before and thought I would like to change to a PNS for its portability. I was at the Phuket Vegetarian Festival and felt that I missed many nice photos due to the lack of a DSLR. Well, PNS can get good photos too. But like you said, you cannot crank it up ISO1600 without suffering noise. So I shot at lower ISO and got pictures that are not sharp enough.

I am looking at D5000 or D90. I may get it during CNY when I go back to Singapore if I have enough budget. Hope that the price will drop more.

It feels so nice to be able to shoot handheld and get such sharp photos. Drooling for a new DSLR!!!

Take a look at the comparison of differences.
I am not telling you that D90 is better since i have not used D5000 before but it certainly is a higher end camera than D5000. A lot depends on your requirements.

Nice shots but it should be 九皇 rather than 九王.

wow your shot are impressive using that kit lens at night!! i have a hard time using those kit while doing night shooting

Isn't it the same?

TS uses the simplified chinese character, while the latter uses traditional chinese.

You used SB600?
