1. in what area is critique to be sought?
The feel about this photo and composition.

2. what one hopes to achieve with the piece of work?
Constructive comments are welcome. So that i can improve.

3. under what circumstance is the picture taken?
This pic was taken when im running across a side alley to take shelter from rain. Surprisingly i saw the trishaw riders were taking their nap in their trishaw under the pouring rain..

4. what the critique seeker personally thinks of the picture
i think being a trishaw rider is a tough job too.. they dont earn much but lead a simple life and be contented.

Hmm, it's an interesting shot, but lacks focus. The composition/crop (i assumed you cropped it) isn't very well done, because there is no direction for the eye to follow, no colours which stand out strongly. If I were you, I'd have zoomed it closer on one of the trishaws if possible, maybe from a more frontal angle, so that i can cut out the other trishaws. I would have chosen a trishaw which was against the white corrugated iron, because the left of your pic has the distracting red construction netting, and the right has some advertisement. Also, I have trouble seeing most of the trishaw drivers because the plastic rain covers reflects light, so perhaps a polarising filter would have helped there to take away some of the glare and reveal the drivers sleeping. I like the rain splashes at the bottom of the frame, though :) Could have tried a longer exposure to make the falling rain come out more.

Anyway, I know it was probably hard to make many of these changes because of the rain and stuff, but just stuff that I hope helps in your next shot :)

merry christmas!
