Giottos MH-5001 3-way Pan Head

Dear All,

Since my Berno has been a total failure for my current setup…I was looking for other ballhead or pen head…
after some consideration …I went to this product Giottos MH-5001 3-way Pan Head…

I like to get some user feedback or some advice on penhead…
Normally will use it with Nikon D80 + MB-D80+(Sigma 10-20 or sigma 70-300)

Appreciate for u advice ….

This is a very solid head with rapid release. It works well with my 4x5 Tachihara LF and Pentax 67 MF cameras. The weight is reasonable, although you could spend much more money and get something slightly lighter. This head folds up compactly on the tripod (one arm attaches to the other), another plus.
