Query on LiveView

Ok, I acquired the Panasonic GF-1 recently, but I have a question: how do I tweak the liveview settings? I noticed my camera isn't quite updating the image to reflect the exposure and shutter speed. Or is it a software bug or something? I'm using the latest firmware. Thanks.

Press ur Shutter/Trash button at the bottom right hand corner of ur screen. When you see "SHTR SPEED EFFECT ON [DISPLAY]" , press [DISPLAY] and u shud be able to see ur shutter speed preview.

If still unsure. check out Page 88 of ur manual.
