i am keen to go, but do you think S$1.46k is a bit high?

I had been to a similar 9 days trip last year with the same price but inclusive of all meals plus tips for the china tour guide and drivers.

On top of that, during our 2.5 days at Yuan Yang, we had a Yuan Yang photographer to bring us around to the best locations in Yuan Yang for photo shoot. This photographer is quite well know in China and had published some Yuan Yang photography book.

The price increase is mainly due to flight cost increase. As far as i understand there has been fare hike on flight cost year on year. Of coz, if there are more people going in a group, cost per pax will reduce accordingly.

And for Singaporean we can only put up in 2 of the hotels in Yuan Yang. Unless the local use their name to book the hotel for us. :(
Currently the hot spot need 30.00 rmb per visit by next year when fininsh it should be around 280.00 rmb. :dunno:

Me & my friend also planned to go these two places in next yr :) can you send me the details & itinerary? will duscuss w/ my friend and see whether can your trip.

Albertsim, do you mind to share with us your itinerary(LuoPing & Yuan Yang) for that trip? would be best if you could tell us more like....
- Which hotel u stayed?... price& review?
- How to go Yuan Yang & LuoPing?... by train or bus? travel time?
- Where are the best locations for shooting in LuoPing & Yuan Yang?

Actually flight prices in china has been dropping these few years. Even the fuel surcharge and tax has dropped by half.

Sorry guys, missed your earlier post. First of all, due to tight timing, our group did not include Luo Ping. Moreover the best timing for shooting Yuan Yang and Luo Ping are quite different.

Another thing to note for Yuan Yang is that it is a place for sunrise and sunset. To get to the best location for sunrise, you will need to get up around 3.30 - 4 am in the morning and half the time, the weather may not be good for photography, so it is advisable to stay a few days in order to have a better chance of getting the sunrise and sunset.

If you guys can read chinese, I will include my chinese version of itin for your reference.

@highspeed: Our is a customised tour, so I do not have a specific answer to your question. I preferred to avoid the hassle of having to look for hotel and transport of doing DIY. However, since it is a customised tour, we get to decided on the itin and to stop the bus along the way if we find suitable shooting location. Apart from this, the tour agent also help us engage a pro photographer from Yuan Yang so he could bring us around Yuan Yang to the best shooting location.

@KHNgEddie: If you are interested in this type of tour, you can speak to Cindy @ 62242112. As it is a customised tour, you may not find the tour readily available. However, if you can find 10+ persons, Cindy will be able to help you make all the arrangement.
