It is not being a "senior" or being an "idol" member of Clubsnap that you will gain respect, it is the attitude one possesses places others first and one see people as important, and one's perspective of reflecting their viewpoint, not his or hers.

It is also not how much knowledge, experience one possesses, if he or she is unable to achieve harmony and results by getting along with people. For sure you will not gain respect just because one has the most number of posts in this forum.

ya lor, it's true, i should know. :bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

Never forget grassroot support.

What is the first thing you have to do in order that
you remember not to forget your grassroot support?

Do you just keep quiet, pray or immediately give
words of appreciation or encouragement? ;):)

......Sets fire to the grass around Sion  :sticktong ;p

Ha, ha, remember how do you wept when you did
that the last time to either Sion or anyone else?

You either have the feeling of rejection or of total
acceptance of someone's contribution, don't you Ian?

;)

1. be a good photographer
2. be willing to share knowledge and help others

in P&P section, respect is awarded differently sometimes,

#1 doesn't have to apply, it can be substituted with:

1. be a photographer who can get many different girls that clubsnap has never seen before.

2. be willing to share half-baked knowledge on PP :bsmilie::bsmilie: (e.g. how to oversmoothen skin, how to oversharpen eyelashes)

I've never wept over a post or regretted what I've written.

Many's the time I've had to stop myself from being too honest and brutal in reviews of images etc. I guess after nearly 33 years of professional photography I'm well and truly jaded with most shooting styles, though I will always encourage a newbie, but God help someone who posts $hit under the guise of "Art" or who feeds incorrect information to people.

I often don't have total agreeance and will say so if needed. If I agree with part of a statement I usually won't comment on it though as I have limited time to spend replying thanks to life's little miseries at present.

But if somone makes a blanket statement without qualifiers then I'll drop a ton of fresh pungent manure on his/her/its head from a great height.

Other than that I just love to be the devils advocate.

Thanks.

In return I betow you the highest honours of the most repectable member of EXPOSE thread for your consistent high quality contributions. :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

That is nothing compared to you...............:embrass::embrass:

Why is there a need to garner respect to begin with?

That is when you have reached the pinnacle of your achievements and you can't go any higher.

That is when you don't have to respect anyone which I think that you have gotten there already.

Even if you have ppl's respect, I feel you should still respect others....

Reaching pinnacle does not equate to getting respect ! It has to be earned and I have never respected anyone due to his or her accomplishment alone but character is more vital.:bsmilie:
