Anyone still using film camera?

Hi all. newbie here. wondering if anyone still uses film cameras (now that everyones going for digital)

is Nikon F80 suitable for a newbie? found one going for around $200 with the 28-80 lens, no flash. cheap or not? :sweat:

also, if i take film cameras out for travel (hong kong/ shanghai) what precautions should i make? does film cameras have higher chance of becoming mouldy? sorry..noob here

yes, seller was a CS member, but he sold on ebay. even bring the price down to $180 boday+lens+bag+flash (after many days, flash was sold)

No point crying over spilt milk; there are lots of film cameras out there that are cheap, and you won't be restricted because you already have an army of lenses from one system. Have a look around the Peninsula area, you might find something you like for a bargain.

And yes, plenty of us still shoot film

there are many film users here, however, not everyone uses f80

if you think it is good it will be fine. there are always compromises. who cares what other people think?

precautions? you just need common sense.

There's always the Nikon FE2, Olympus OM, Pentax Lx etc etc...
