so is anyone going for this at all?

Interesting, no detail at all and ask ppl pay $220

I think the seminar on the 6th is free, just that registration is required cause of limited seats.

But the workshop by Dan Chung gotta pay.

If you been using or studying the use of DSLRs for video, u might have come across Dan Chung's site and works, www.dslrnewsshooter.com

I think it great that Cathay has been able to get someone as acclaimed and knowledgeable as Dan Chung to give a workshop. An excellent opportunity to learn from a master of his craft.

Was there, an excellent session. Kudos to CP!

was there as well :)
dan chong is really good at talking and explaining stuff...
he manages to keep me awake for the whole session... ( which is rare, i even fall asleep on the office )
and all his works are topnotch :)

i think next they should get Phillip Bloom or someone from a filmmaking background instead of photography background.
just my opinion

I thought Teoh Peng Kee put up a pretty good presentation too despite only talking about still photography. He effectively showed how good technical knowledge can translate into great images.

I actually learned a lot from his presentation as well even though I've been using Canon for 3 years... hmmmm.

The one in Oct or Nov was free. It was a 2-hour session by Sean (cannot remember his last name). Among the discussion, he compared the pros and cons of DSLR as video vs video cam and the accessories available to use with DSLR in videography.

Look at Dan Chung Face. So Funny.

did someone mention philip bloom?

the guy from Genus claims this bloom fellow has half a million people following his website!
