SNBB promotions not that attractive anymore leh..They only offer netbooks now. I recontracted in Jan 2009 and got a Lenovo Thinkpad SL400. Decent laptop

If it's held @ Expo, it turns me off already.

If I were to save around $10 for what I'm buying (portable hard disk + accessories), I think it's not worth travelling so far.

Anyway, just a tip for those who are interested in buying portable hard disk and are Challenger members..
The members' price for 2.5" and 3.5" portable hard disk sold @ challengers are very near the prices at these "computer roadshows".

Expo is better then Suntec.. At Suntec it's so difficult to access.. even getting to the halls is difficult and the escalators is only so wide. At Expo at least the walking space to the halls is much wider.

Agree. Suntec has different floors, and the escalators are just plain bottle necks ;(

Isit? Hmm.. have the impression that Expo MRT is very deserted type.. and the only reason pple uses it is to go to the expo.. Not like Cityhall MRT where it is always very crowded and the crowd going to Suntec just adds on to it..

And.. the crowd at the Expo is there solely for the event at expo.. unlike Suntec where pple are there for all kinds of reasons.. and the Sitex just makes the traffic worst. If only all computer fairs are held at Expo.. then even the shoppers at Suntec will be grateful..
