Polarize Coating wear-off

Got an oakley sunglass,
notice a lot of fine bits of crystal-like particle on the lense after washing.
Guess its the polarize coating coming off.

Anyone encounter before ?

Guess its the mercury wear off.
My seller reminded me not to wipe the lens too often or else the mercury will wear off one.
Its polarized iridium coated right?
