When installing this on my Macbook Pro by running the setup file, halfway, it will ask me to install the disc for CS4.
HUH?!!?
Do note, I am installing CS3 here, and it is asking for disc for CS4?!?
I wonder if this is because it has detected some files for CS4?
I think I had tried to install CS4 before but it had failed.
I've done a search and deleted all CS4 files and also used a program called Snow Leopard Cache Cleaner to search and remove all redundant files. But still have this problem.
Any idea what I have to do to install this Adobe CS3 Master Collection? :(
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did u you the un-installer from Adobe to remove the app completely? It is found in Utilities/Adobe Installers. Deleting it by dragging the app to the trash have reported to give users some problems. Perhaps you can use spotlight to search for anything on CS4 to remove them completely. Otherwise see if the un-installer works at this stage. If not, re-install CS4 and remove them completely after that. Hope it helps.

I have already used spotlight to search and delete everything CS4.
Cannot find the uninstaller - think also deleted it.
Haizz...

maybe you would like to search for adobe preference files and remove them?

sometimes these preference files might be causing problems to your installation.

Where can I find this?
I used spotlight but could not find.

In the preference folder?
