K7. More compact body, better viewfinder, better AF, electronic level, composition adjust, HD movie, in-body HDR, I'd say the $700 more is worth spending if you know how to make use of these features.

really depends how much you want to spend total. With K20D, the difference you can get more stuff especially if you buy the K20D second hand. As long you know what you are doing, not easy to differentiate pics taken by each camera. With the K7, you get something top of the line.

For me, with the announcement of their 645D and K7, only a matter of time before the full frame is out and thats the one i will be gunning for to replace my K20D.

both are great.

if you can afford the k7, of course go for it.

if not, the k20d is a very capable camera as well.

Yes the K-7 costs more but think of the K-7 as being 2 cameras... a still camera & a HD video camera. If you wait a little you got the K-x as another option as well. Even though it fits in the entry level segment, the sample images I've seen look pretty good and it's got video too.

can't go wrong with both, see which one fits your budget and if you really need or use the features on the K-7.

Decided to get second hand K20D then...
Now waiting for people to sell their K20D kit

Most here will sell the body only as most have the DA* lens, not kit lens only a few will have kit lens.

Best to go for K20D kit brand new for $1250 thereabouts.
