Great!! from next season onwards I won't have so many set top boxes at home.... ;p

omg...

there goes my weekend soccer matches already...

time to cancel after the f1 season

switch lor.... :)

would prefer not to let singtel earn too much from my family but looks like there's not much of a choice...especially when the broadband and hp services all from singtel.

Don't be so emotional.... anyway , if you can live without BPL, UCL etc.... then good for you.

That being said, you can switch to Starhub cable modem and fixed line.... so you won't "let them earn too much from your family" :)

Yup.... ESPN Star Sports will all be under Singtel as well..... F1, FA Cup, Tennis etc etc

wah! time to switch to singtel liao! ;p

my starhub port is too far away from the com and laying the cable around the living room is going to be a troublesome affair.
besides so far i have experienced decent services with singtel broadband technicians.
maybe i should stop watching soccer for a season and see how it goes.

I don't mind paying, but having 2 different set top boxes isn't going to sit well with my lady boss at home.:kok:

Anyone can recommend TVs that has built in digital tuner whioh will work for both Starhub and Singtel?

This open bid excercise is suppose to benefits the consumers but I really can't feel the love.
When all else fails, I guess there are always kopitiam or pubs.

But then if you go to a pub....2 pints will cost you like $20.... in one month you will spend $80++..... still cheaper to subscribe lah... hahaha :bsmilie:

Maybe I can tell my lady boss if she wants me to go out drinking on a saturday night or let me have another set top box.:blah:

Where did you get this news that Singtel won the exclusive rights to the BPL?

Btw, if it is true, those people who re-contract with StarHub cable TV must be damn !@#$ up.
Cos they will be tied down by 2 years.
