Hi guys,

Would like to ask if any D70s users here, do you guys have problems with the zoom in when you review your photos on the LCD screen? Can only zoom in once, and not really that zoom-in. I can't really tell whether there is blur/oof in my photos. It is only when I upload my photos to the computer, then I realise 80% of my photos from a trip have slight blur. Very sad.

If so, is there any ways to make it zoom in more? I think it is becoz the old system is it? D70s.

Thanks. :)

Just want to clarifiy.

I remember you need to hold the zoom button and rotate the main command dial, if that's what you mean...

Correct me if I am wrong.

Yea but hmm how can I describe.
It can't zoom in very very very much right?
Like D200 D700 those kind of very very zoom in.
Can't describe here haha.

Cos I cant review whether they are blur/oof or not, until when I come back home, put into laptop then know they are blur.

I am still training my breathing when snapping tho.
But

i played d70 and d70s a few years back, hmm.. it's really not easy to see from the small lcd screen, but i remember i managed to do it somehow.

may be you can try this, do not review your photo at maximum magnification, everything will be pixelated if you zoom in max, everything will appear blur. try to review by zooming out 1 or 2 level from max magnification, you should be able to tell (roughly ;p) the difference between blur and sharp photos.

HTH. :)

Yeah, you can't zoom in that much as compared to newer model. IIRC, only 4x magnification from the "red defined area" after holding zoom + dial.

Try this... Using D70.
Don't know whether same or not..

Play Image > press the magnifying glass >
press and hold the ISO button and rotate the dial at the back.

Hope that works...

Cheers! :)

So, yeah.. Glad I managed to help.. ;)

Just curious.. Why would you upgrade to a D70 anyway?

To get AF function on the AF lenses. :)

But you could have looked at D80 or D90...

i know the answer due to servo motor inside the cam? am i right? =P

Hmm yea. It is an error to buy D40x at the start. Haha, I didn foresee that I am so into it that I want to improve so much and gradually I find d40x couldn do what I want.
Hmm did think of D80 or D90, but still a student! $$$$ is a  to me ):
I need to save up nowwwwwwwwwwww. Lucky I dont have a gf. Haha.
