Anyone tried Phottix UV Filters??

As above. It seems that Phottix makes pretty decent accessories like battery grip etc, anyone is using their ultra slim multi-coated version of UV filter..? Any comments?

IIRC, 1 or 2mm. Is it too slim for protection? debatable. I wouldnt use it for expensive lens.

Does using a filter improve anything in the image? If not you can safely skip the filter. Try with some strong light in the frame (sun, street light), let us know about the quality of flare

I am deciding between buying this or not buying.
If there is really no comments about the filter, I might just skip it.
