Raffles City outlet claimed that they would not be providing Shaker Fries packets anymore. Is this true? If so, there is not much reason to eat at Macs other than the $2 el-cheapo burgers..:(

is the shaker fries really so tasty?

http://baconsalt.com/

The Seaweed Shaker Fries packet(seasoning) comes free whenever you upsize your EVM. It is quite decent tasting, however recently I found a good alternative to it as well.

One more reason for you to get an upsized Coke..

The shaker fries come with a bag. After eating, people just clasp and BOOMS..

Ok, thanks for the heads up about the shaker fries.

Yes, the seaweed shaker fries period is over.

You guys must head down to Taiwan and try the curry, chilli and other flavours shaker fries sold at the pasar malam.

Philippines also... All the malls have french fry stalls with lots of flavors.

For those who can afford it,try baconsalt.;)
It's very tasty :)

So far, I only had it once, got it take away from the M Sq to go shoot the NDP rehearsal.

Well, it is quite a bit of fun to play-play, shake-shake and taste the salty stuff, while waiting for the action to come at Marina Bay.

For some reasons, McD has discontinued it after such a short while. I thought it is pretty popular as I saw many folks having fun shaking it.

It's to make sure it STAYS popular. Like twister fires. Discontinue for a bit, then when you re-introduce, theres a huge surge of demand. Make sure people miss the taste rather than get used to it.

I love the Samurai Burger

I recently tried Bacon Salt with Mc fries. Apparently the fries are so oily that the oil overpowers and milds the taste of the Bacon Salt! This does not happen with the Seaweed seasoning. Wonder how salty it must be
