How about a D90?

The D90 will last you from a novice to a more advance user without having to think of an upgrade too soon with its features.

To me the D90 is more convenient and easier to use than the lower range models and one could auto focus with lenses w/o built-in motors too.

wesleytjq don't forget to set aside some money for dry cabinet to protect your investment.

my budget bout 1000+ which should i buy , nikon brand

Thing is what is your budget exactly? $1001 is 1000+, 1999 is also 1000+. And in between 1001 and 1999 budget, there is like 3 Nikon models you can buy.

For a budget of $1000, I suggest

$500 or less for a 2nd hand D40 with a 18-55mm kit lens.
The balance for a 2nd hand 55-200mm lens and prime lenses.

If you already have a basic nikon lens, why don't get a D60 as a start?

Strange, you buy the wheels first before you buy the car?

d90...as mentioned, will last u for a while without the need to upgrade

d90 body is good enuff and can last quite a long time, since the sensor is quite new technology(taken from d300).

You've already been given 10x the info needed to make a choice. Now can you please stop asking to be spoonfed and go make your own decision? You should NEVER let other people tell you what to buy. They won't be using the camera, YOU WILL. So go try the cameras in the store or nikon showroom as suggested.

TS,

I know you only want Nikon. You should get a Nikon D3x.
