Food in Central Tokyo

As someone who visits tokyo often,

i'd like to collate a list of makan places in tokyo.

hopefully this helps those who are going to visit tokyo,

and giving them an idea on places to eat and their prices.

so do share them here!

i for one like yubatsu yakitori in roppongi.

it is the 3rd building from the left of mister donut on the 7th floor.

parking can be found opposite, in the basement of one of the office buildings.

My all-time favorite: Matsuya.
They're everywhere. Cheap, fast, tasty.

My favorite is the beef-kalbi set. 630yen for the meals + miso soup + salad.

Another one is, Sukiya.. I normally order beef-bowl spring onion set, around 500yen.

well, here is one for those on a budget.

i will be contributing and recommend more restaurants.

here's one more: hibiki fine dining restaurant.

it's located at caretta building in shiodome,

easily accesible by metro, and the exact location is 1-8-2 of shiodome, 1st chome of shinbashi is east of shiodome,

so if you're going by cab it's higashi shiodome.

forgot to add, located on the 46th floor, unit number #3, next to the elevator.

this is one of their dozen of sky restaurants with a beautiful view of the 23 wards of tokyo.

they serve very good alcoholic drinks,

i'd recommend their grapefruit liquor, lychee liquor drink.

they also have good sakes and aged mead wines.

their "chicken rice"(can't rmb exact name) is very good as well, it's rice in soup with shredded chicken, egg and wakame,

as is their pan-grilled salmon toro.

Yoshinoya in tokyo is also much more unique and tastes better in japan compared to singapore

ok i rmbed one,

it's along the same line as LV and Burberry,

opposite the omotesando shopping centre along omotesando hills.

it's a budget sushi restaurant,

eat and go.

best-to-eat there is the o-toro,

fresh and nice.

one piece goes for 400 yen, much cheaper then SG.

and it's way freshier anw.

a full lunch of sushi + appetisers (chawanmushi, miso soup) would cost about 1000 yen,

considering you eat the cheaper sushis.

is this the very famous tempura shop?

very nice place.

to get there, walk from asakusa station till you see the giant chochin of the kaminarimon,

walk in straight till you see the senso but before the temple there are split roads,

it should be a left turn.

not sure of the exact directions, but double-check with the address,

and check the chome and sub-chome, should get you to your destination.

Ah, famous yes but you're referring to Daikokuya near Asakusa station; that's what most people will recognise for tempura at Asakusa

Ramen from TenKai Ippin. Can be found in almost any neighbourhood in central Tokyo. But the outlet that was best for me to date is the one at Roppongi, right beside Hard Rock Cafe.

There is one chain Udon Shop in Shijuku and Shibuya.

The name is Hanamaru　（花まる）
Their Udon is very cheap..!! one simple most cheaper Udon (small) is only JPY105.

I would said is very cheap and nice...And you can add on side dish by yourself.

As for Matsuya now they have tomato curry. (トマトカレ&#12540 at JPY290 only.
Only during summer season.

Lastly, there is a ramem shop name as 愽多　in Shibuya.
Their ramem is only JPY500 and once you finish the noddle you can ask for additional noodles up to 2x without additional (替え&#29577

For those who like katsudon or donkatsu.
there is a chain shop selling katsudon and not too ex.
and very nice too..

Will be in tokyo for abt 3 days and staying in Shinjiku. Can you all recommend where are the must eats for

1) Sashimi
2) Wagyu beef
3) Ramen and Soba
4) Other seafood
