It is the human nature. Nothing to do with education. One can be very highly educated and yet doing all sorts of illegal stuff, or chase own parents out of the house, or being impolite or rude or no manners,.... the list goes on and on.
In other words, one can be of low educated/poor but kind-hearted, fillial or polite or considerate, and so on. But nothing very surprising, humans tend to be superficial most of the time. If Mr A looks handsome/rich (if he claims to be)/polite (acting to be), she will most likely be impressed by Mr A. Plus all the honeyed words, 90% of the women will fall for it.
Mr B so so looking, no money but kind hearted or fillial or polite-watever good points he has, people cannot see, he is just a normal person. Women usually won't take a 2nd look at him.
So in conclusion, its the human nature (superficial).
