I happen to see the previous posts with regards to the somewhat abusive posts,
I'm not going to comment on the lack of consideration shown for the people who were disturbed but rather the way your members respond to feedback.
Was that the right way to respond to somebody who means well?
If this is the overall behavior and attitude of our younger generation;
lack of consideration, contempt, abusive attitude,
I fear for the future of our country, our future leaders, and citizens.

well, i was asked to say something.
one of the problems with singapore (especially when it comes to online discussion) is that when disagreements arise, people end up making personal attacks. they address the person, not the issue. in fact, i doubt some of them know what the issue is.
anyways, if you think you're alright, then keep at it, whatever is said will not matter to you an ounce anyways.. if you don't, and you are aware of others' perception of you.. don't just keep blaming it on them, and get bitter because you are trapped in your own mind. whenever people say something about me, i can feel very irritated, but if there is a slight amount of truth in it, then it is worth listening to.
if you wish to change others' perception of you, if it matters to you, then actions speak louder than words.
in any case, age isn't really a factor here, i have no issue with age, or equipment. anyone and everyone is entitled to have more money than me, how they use it, i can feel something about it but i won't judge them based on the money or make it a serious issue to myself. and if anyone here is making insinuations based on such terms, then perhaps they should also engage in self reflection.
