But Dave Hill effects are not exactly HDR leh. Many material you read on the net will tell you it's difficult to achieve Dave Hill effects cause he
uses complex lighting techniques to first get his photos the way he wants it to be before his PP comes in.

Why would you want to duplicate and do the same as dave hill? Always copy and follow people here and there Dave Hill knows of it will get annoyed

You gave a link to Dave Hill website and the effects you've seen are really know as 'Dave Hill Effects' because it's his creation. Do a search and you'll know what I mean.

you want dave hill's level of PP... i suggest you go pick up digital painting

Most people are not good or cannot even sketch a human form. They also do not have the patience and flair for applying colors. SO for this grp of people photoshop and photoediting software, plus a dslr or cam help them to create art. Sorry but not all photographers are artists.
Alot are just GWC who owns photoshop
