I have a vivitar 2800 from film era, still working. Can triggers like PT-04 II or TM, or other type like PW etc be used to trigger it?

If yes, can it trigger film flash and 430 EX II flash at the same time?

I know film flash cannot be used on DSLR body because of volt difference, but does this apply to triggers?

if you able to connect the receiver to the flash, you can trigger the flash.

either one of the flash need to have optical slave, or each of them have connect together via cable, or each flash connect to receivers.

Yea what I intend to do is to connect both 430 EX II and Vivitar 2800 each to receivers.

So the big question is if the flash receiver (Pt-04 II) can withstand the higher voltage of 140V of Vivitar 2800 because 430EX II is only < 6V.
