Thinking aloud - A eerie photo theme cum competition for the 7th Lunar month?

Okay I'm bored but do hear me out.

Shall we have an eerie photo theme for the 7th lunar month where we invite photographers to contribute their eerie pictures and even possibly by the end of the month, we converge all the pictures, turn it into a mini-competition where we'll crown the spooky picture of the year?

Will need a bit of time to work on some simple guidelines and with any luck, I hope I can get someone to sponsor a prize or something as a token of recognition and appreciation ...

At the meantime, please give me suggestions which I'll incorporate into the rules and regulations.

For now, the pictures should:

1. Not be digitally manipulated (can someone help me to unpack 'manipulated'?)
2. 1 picture per person (?)
3. need not be the real deal (if it is, then bonus lor)
4. be creative (but not don't mix up with concepts such as phobias)
5. must be relevant to the 7th lunar month

1. There must not be any significant removal or addition of elements in the image. To clarify:-

* Adjustments to color, saturation, contrast, brightness and sharpening are allowed.
* Cropping of images is allowed.
* Cloning must be limited to general cleaning work - significant addition or removal of elements in the composition is prohibited.
* Dodging and burning is permitted.
* Perspective adjustments for correction of lens distortion is permitted.
