what's with video capturing function in DSLR bodies nowadays? even the rumoured D4X has one. are we seeing the death of dedicated video cams soon?

I can wait, if that nikon 120-450mm is the real deal, then I finally will have a decent update to the 80-400mm.

I believe the future DSLR systems will be hybrid system. It will be easier for consumers to use. Want to shoot pictures....Camera mode.....want to take video.....video mode......lens no need to buy....use current ones.
