sigma 180 f2.8 MF lens??? what am i thinking??

Dear all,

I know this discussion is regarding sigma lens but I post this in the kopitiam section.

Reason: it is kind of OT for discussion regarding lens

I saw this lens laying in a my regular visit shop, was planning to get the latest sigma HSM 70-300 apo (for Nikon).
The shop was out of stock and I need to wait for 1 week… then chit chat with the salesman as usual.

Suddenly this lens(sigma MF 180mm f2.8) come into my mind(as I wan to test it long time ago)… so I go ahead,

1st impression, solid and I mean really solid lens, full metal and weight more like 2kg or something(try google, not much info but manage to found out is around 1.3kg)

IQ, I dun know… my arm is too small to handle this lens and with 1/30 with iso 400 is hard to handle for a focus length like this… cannot go out to test as it is night time…

Micro…1:2…

The spec is not important to me now…

I dun know y… I keep feeling that I need to get this lens and dun know how it perform…
Something like first love…


By the way,,…. It cost like SGD300 only…

Bro and sis, it is just a discussion… I just dun know what to do… is it the stupid BBB virus??
I dun know… but I keep looking in the web and try to find a reason for me to buy this lens…

haven't get it yet but the the lens keep calling me... and it is so beautiful…so.. beautiful….. beautiful…..so shiny and so beautiful… beau…ti…ful….
