Hi I'm very new to DSLR. Bought an olympus e520 with 14-52mm and 40-150mm lenses to bring on my Korea trip two weeks ago.

Should I bring both lenses on my trip?

Erm, sometimes I can't take photos, especially when I'm doing close up. Why is this so?

And does anyone know where I can buy a spare BLM-1 battery? Thanks!

if they do not stop you from enjoying your trip, why not?
each lens has a minimal focus distance which might or might not allow you to get close

spare battery? call the shops and ask
you can find a list of shops and their contact numbers in the price lists threads
or ask in the Oly forum

Check your lens minimum focussing distance (MFD)..... you can't focus closer than the MFD

hi.. what does sharp copy n gery set means?

sharp copy means that the lens is sharp (more for QC control)
i don't know what or who is gery, but grey set means that it is a parallel imported set that normally sells slightly cheaper but it does not come with official warranty from the manufacturer, ask if there is a shop warranty.

It didn't occur to me to ask at the Oly forum. I shall do that...
