Hi Folk

how to focus when using tripod?
e.g. do i use the centre square focus on the eye and re compose /

need help:dunno:

you use the same thing, can use af what, why should it be any different from not using a tripod

just shoot the same way as you would when you hand-held the camera.

a tripod is to help you, not get in your way of shooting :)

Mount yr camera on the tripod and compose. Use ballhead will be easier than those with 2 levers (vertical and horizontal) alignment kind.

what are you shooting?

I think you are talking about technique of focusing using AF and re-frame (or re-compose) and then shoot. This is not for tripod use (may be monopod can).

if you are shooting static object and building, or landscape, then no problem, use manual focus.

if you are shooting portrait with tripod .. er ... er .. why? you camera too heavy?

Thank you folk
