Photohop Question

Hi guys, i have a question on photoshop. Which is the best platform to run Photoshop CS3/CS4 on?


I currently own these 2 platforms.

Platform 1 (About to get in 2 weeks):vhappy:

imac 24" inch.
2.66 ghz Intel Core 2 duo.
2 X 2GB RAM
640GB HDD
Nvidia 9400M Graphics Card

Platform 2

Asus F8Vr Laptop
2.6 ghz Intel Centrino 2
2 X 2GB RAM
320GB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 3470 Dedicated 256 RAM + Hyper Memory


My question is that does photo editing require a high end graphics card, or can the imac handle it? Because, i'm getting the imac for work/entertainment purpose and my laptop is solely for school only/emergency.
