Welcome. It is recommended to read existing threads and search the forum. Your question has been discussed many times already. Lots of information are available here, posted by many members. Please give them the honour to read first.

Hi Welcome to CS! Anyway it greatly recommended to get a dry cab!:)

welcome TS (thread starter),

highly recommended for the cabinet! like what most would have mentioned in other similar threads, you've already spent quite a lot for your gears, what's spending a bit to protect and needless to worry if they'll get fungus etc on them.

i got mine at carrefour, you might wanna check out other places that sells them too. and, no they don't eat too much electricity. so no worries about that too. cheers, and shoot more!

not needed

if you room has a controlled temp and humidity it should be fine

unless you're extra careful then go ahead and get a medium sized one incase your glass collection expands

Hi, welcome to CS! :)

 to get one... for a peace of mind

hmm i'm new to this slr world too but after reading all these threads i've decided to invest in a dry cabi, its not exactly very expensive as compared to the investment u put in your camera, take it as an insurance for your camera.

it will be a good idea to get a dry cabinet... as your addiction grows over time :bsmilie:

wow, people here are really friendly compared to the many other forums i've been to.

Thanks for sharing. In my eagerness, I totally forgot to search =)

If u're not going to use your camera at least once or twice a week, then a dry cabinet's a must.

Given time you'll probably come across one or two bad apples :)
