You can check with Orient Photo, Sim Lim, 6th floor. Have seen such protectors on shelf. Don't know whether for 450D, too.

Not really a need... juz wish to prevent the LCD from scratches or any impact on it.

i did have a screen protector but i feel it is too thin to protect the LCD if happens to have any hard impact on it.

I have the little film protector and it works. Use a bit of care and alertness instead of such a bulky protector. Cameras are meant for usage, old postage stamps are to be protected

The plastic that you see on the outermost surface is actually a protector. That piece of plastic can be replaced easily for twenty odd dollars. Don't baby your camera, just go out and shoot.
