Hi,

Thinking to visit the above,

Any kind soul can share some advice,
What the best time to visit the beach (from phtg perspective),
Beside the boardwalk, can we actually venture into the water ?

Thanks

Call NEA to check for tide timings. You can only go on the broadwalk if there is no "official" guide with you. You neeed to contact NEA for a guide to bring you onto the sand as you need to know where NOT to step on as there are living creatures there.

Was there only 2 weekends ago. Changed a lot since I visited it 20 years back.

Either walk 1 hour there with mossies as buddies or take the mini bus @$2 per person to Chek Jawa.

You might want to check out the Tide Tables.
That'll give you a rough idea on the time arrangement.
If you want to venture onto the shores, do so at low tide.
Check out the Chek Jawa FAQ.

Thanks for all the advice.

Looks like the guided tour are fully booked for this weekend.

Will it still be a worthy trip on the boardwalk ?
One of the tips mention to avoid sandal with velcro, Really ??
(unless there's a lot of mud)
