Actually from the description in the link, I noticed(or rather the writer of the blog noticed) that sensors are migrating from the semi-pro bodies to the consumer grade bodies....

Will the manufacturers introduce a new range of sensors for the professional bodies in the near future and current sensors in the professional body moving into the prosumer catergory?

That's why just buy what u need until that product is not enough for u to use already or is very old, then upgrade.
